A broken or cracked LCD screen cannot be covered by Samsung’s limited warranty as it is not deemed a product failure, but physical damage.
LCD damage can only be caused by considerable external influences and therefore it is concluded that a cracked or broken LCD can only be caused via impact or pressure exerted upon it and for this reason is not covered under the Samsung warranty. Day-to-day usage cannot crack or break an LCD.
Through post-launch analysis of service activity and repair trend monitoring it is conducted on an ongoing basis for the entire lifespan of the product. The outcomes of pre-launch testing and post-launch analysis are that the SGH- F250 is a durable and stable product and that the displays are of the highest quality.
