Try the following steps:

1. Click Start then Settings
2. Click on System and then look for Enhanced GPS
3. In Enhanced GPS, enable Extra and the Auto Download and set it to 168 hours
4. This will be charged as the phone has an internal Samsung receiver and it will look for updates on the web.
5. Select Download Extra and the wait for it to finish
6. Turn the phone off then on and try the application again
7. You will find that the receiver will work a lot quicker
