Answer:
Due to the fact that Garmin localise the Garmin Mobile XT program in South Africa to run on the Garmap mapping and due to licensing constraints, European maps are not sold locally in South Africa.
Get in contact with Garmin in Europe to ask if they have maps available (support@garmin.co.uk)
