Please note that the SGH-G600 does not support the face detection feature. Face detection is a feature that detects up to nine different faces, enabling you to take perfect portraits of friend and family. In addition to automatically adjusting focus and brightness to optimum levels, this feature also senses and removes red eye.

Unfortunately there are no firmware upgrades available only software reloads. You will have to go through to a Samsung Authorize Service Centre for it to be done.
