Samsung have recently started promoting their new music sensation, the Samsung BeatBox. In order to demonstrate the sheer music power of the phone, Samsung has created the BeatBox couch.

I'm not much for furniture, but I can honestly say that this is probably the funkiest couch I have ever seen. The couch is branded with Samsung BeatBox logos and imagery, definitely a one-of-a-kind.

There's a Samsung representative 'manning' this couch, listening to his BeatBox. The powerful speakers ensure that he is completely oblivious to what's going on around him. Don't worry though, he's more than willing to answer any questions you may have about the Samsung BeatBox.

The Samsung Beat Box, like the Serenata from 2007, is a phone with a complete music package and it again involves a winning Bang & Olufsen partnership. The package comes standard with a B&O powered amplifier as well as two external (and loud!) Samsung speakers.

The music recognition feature allows you to identify song information such as title or artist name by recording a small sample and sending it to the Shazam server.

One of the other cool features is the ability to control music playback through actions performed not only on but to the phone. Shaking it, for example, plays the next or previous song while flipping it over mutes the sound.
