I think this phone is going to be one of the best Android OS phones released this year. The 1GHz Snapdragon CPU should make this phone really zippy, plus there is the 32Gb onboard memory, and the option to add another 32 - all good.
The 3.7" screen should be great too with its 16M colours. I just wish Samsung could squeeze a slightly bigger one in, say 4". Perhaps in the next one.

My upgrade
Submitted by Yasheel on Fri, 2010-02-05 19:21.I am due for an upgrade but this phone be in SA for quiet a long time, and to be honest, there aren't too many new "top end" phones. I was thinking about upgrading to the Galaxy, but now i'm seriously thinking about the Nokia N900 that is also expected soon.
Open mobile
Submitted by palesa on Sun, 2010-02-07 17:06.Now more than ever there are a lot of not only many "top-end" phones but ones that run open platforms. If I remember correctly, the N900 runs Maemo 5 Linux and the Galaxy 2 will run Android 2.1. As you may know, Samsung has also launched its own open OS (bada) and we'll probably learn more about it at MWC in about a week.
Open platforms are the new black, it seems, and not without good reason.
