The Hole-Phone

The annual D&AD Student Awards showcase the best emerging design and advertising talent from educational institutions around the world. Beating out the 388 selected entries, Chi Shing Lo, a student at the UK's De Montfort University scooped first prize for his unique concept phone.
Lo's creation replaces the traditional camera viewfinder with a simple hole that one can look through when taking photos; the hole has a mirror surrounding it for those who love taking self-portraits. The hole is also used to hang the phone on its charging point thereby doing away with messy charge cables that are prevalent with current phones.
