cameraphone
The "AMOLED 12M" raises the bar for cameraphones and not just because it has a whopping 12MP camera. At first glance it looks like a standalone consumer camera such as Samsung's own digicams, with a mode dial, zooming lens (3x optical zoom), shutter button, Xenon flash, a preview screen, HD video recording (720p at 30fps), and so on. Upon closer inspection you'll find that it has a 3.3" WVGA AMOLED capacitive screen with a 800x480 resolution - the same type as you'd find on the Samsung Omnia II, amongst others.
I've had the pleasure of using the Samsung Innov8 (16GB version) for the past two weeks and thought to share some of my favourite features in the next few days on what's probably my favourite handset right now. As you may already know, the Innov8 has a superb 8MP camera that is complemented with a host of fascinating camera features. In this blog post I'll just cover panorama.
Yes, the heading is correct! Your eyes did not mislead you! It really is the FIRST 8MP cameraphone to be released.
Unfortunately, I cannot say that this phone comes from Samsung. No, actually, it's a Sony Ericsson. I know that this forum is actually meant for Samsungs, but I thought this news to be too good just to let pass.
I'm not going to elaborate much about the features, because I think that the 8MP camera with Xenon Flash is good enough of a reason to buy the phone.

Now let's wait in anticipation for Samsung's reply to this.
